Effective Communication
At the end of 2020, we integrated our conveyancing law software through Perfect Portal. The portal was set up as an interface between us and the broker as a means for brokers to digitally send us new leads and to keep track of their cases 24/7.
Why did we upgrade in 2020?
Although Boyd Legal already had a robust system in place, we felt that it was time to invest further in technology and there is nothing like a worldwide pandemic that makes you focus on these future investments, technology becomes a priority. After all clear communication between a solicitor and broker, makes for a happy client.
The Purpose of the Portal
The purpose of the portal is for brokers and case handlers to be able to log on at any point day or night and check the progress of their cases. The portal is updated as we reach each milestone in the transaction. However, to maintain valued relations with each of the brokers and their teams, we will continue to email updates from within our database as standard.
Instructing Boyd Legal has never been easier
All we need from the broker is the following information:
- Client(s) full name
- Client(s) date of birth
- Client(s) full home address including postcode
- Client(s) phone number; and email address (where possible)
- Who the broker is (as it might be the case handler who adds the client to the portal)
- Broker reference (where applicable)
Onboarding a new lead
Once the new lead is uploaded onto our portal, the Equity Release team at Boyd Legal will receive an email advising of the new instruction. Boyd Legal can then start progressing with this instruction.
